ATI 2015 How manually delete backups?

Thread needs solution

Build 6613. After much searching, I cannot find how to manually delete old backups IN ATI 2015--only how to do it in older versions. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Remarkably, you cannot filter a query in this forum to stay within the version you have so you get thousands of old, irrelevant posts.

Hi David,
thank you for your posting.
In Acronis True Image 2015 there is no option to delete separate backup versions manually. Instead you can use automatic cleanup rules within a backup plan:

Thank you,

What if the backups you want to delete are not part of an existing backup set? For example, if you used to backup monthly to location M but now don't want to do that but you need the space for other things. Could you delete these with explorer and not screw up Acronis? I know in prior versions Acronis had bugs where it would mess up existing backkup sets that had nothing to do with the currently running backup that had a problem. Thank you.

David,
Backups have to be done manuall via Windows explorer if backups created by a prior task.

When deleting, if any incremental deleted, all incrmental but be deleted as each inc has its own specific piece of data which is not included in any other backup.. Keep or delete the associated Full. If Full kep, peform manual validation and respond ignore to any error messages.

Or, post a picture of your tib storage folder and comment as to which you wish to delete.

You should set up future tasks with automatic cleanup such as example GH11, 12 OR 13.
