ATI Home v10 and Windows ver 7

Thread needs solution

I have been using ATI Home v10 for some years now but the time has come to replace my ageing PC. The replacement will have Win 7 32bit as the OS and I'm concerned that my version of ATI will still work with this version of Windows.

In fact I don't use ATI as an installed application but do my partition imaging and recovery using the recovery CD - will I be able to continue using ATI on the new machine ?

TI 10 does not support Windows 7 so it's best not to install it (normally it's blocked, but it can be forced).

TI 10 also doesn't correct any booting files or links for Windows 7. This means that a boot repair may be needed after doing a restore. Please note that this is usually only required after the first restore. Backups created after the first restore should restore normally.

In addition, if you backup and restore Entire Disk Images (the Disk # checkbox is checked), it should restore without needing a repair.

Keep in mind that the recovery media for TI 10 is quite old now and may not have the drivers necessary to function correctly on the new computer. You would have to try it.
