ATI Image Compatibility
I don't know if I am alone in this experience, but it appears that ATI 2012 does not appear to handle images made with older versions of ATI very well and wonder if this is a known issue or not. Also, I am going to assume that an image made with ATI 2012 would work well with ATI 2012 and wonder what the easiest way of "converting" an image made with say ATI 10 to ATI 2012. I guess I could always recover the image, then use ATI 2012 to make a new backup.
Regardless, I find myself frequently going back to older versions to get a recovery (or backup) to work. For instance, I am trying to currently create a backup of someone's computer I am fixing before I work on it (just in case), but with ATI 2012, it has been freezing and stopping in the middle of the backup, but ATI 2010 doesn't appear to have this issue.

That would probably be the cause then as I try to use the boot disc instead of running through Windows, because you never know what the OS is going to do, and would rather capture a resting state than an active state as it were. Too bad that ATI 2010 doesn't really support 3TB external drives (recognizes there is a drive, and the correct capacity, just doesn't recognize partitions, files, or folders) as I find 2010 to work better than 2012. I am aware that you can create smaller partitions and then ATI 2010 can handle it, but this is not acceptable if you are trying to use a single drive as a massive dump of tib files.
