ATI2012 Boot rescue fails to run

Thread needs solution

I installed ATI 2012 and made rescue cd. Then after making an image using 2012 I soon found that I had an opportunity to use ATI to restore an image (computer was just dropping to reboot when I browsed my downloads folder). Misery ensued. The recue media did not boot correctly, see screenshot. If you press enter at this stage you launch the program but you will get a flashing curser, and any attempt to resore an image will fail and now you have a blank HDD.

Tried to boot the rescue media on another desktop computer, but I get a different error, it is just a scrolling screen of numbers and there is no way to go any further.....

How do I get a refund for the upgrade?

I have contacted customer support and the refund is in progress.

I would advise all to check that their rescue media is working for an image restore. (do make an image using 2011 before you do this)
Be aware that an image made with 2012 cannot be restored with 2011 rescue media.

Were the Beta testers doing anything on this release?

I will stay with 2011

Refund now received 26 Dec 2011. Thanks
