ATI2013 - Sync share invitations not being sent

I have sent sync invitation e-mails to a couple of people and the emails are not being received. The intended receipients have checked their spam boxes and the emails aren't there.

Is there any other way of inviting people to join the sync? Or how can I force theemails to go?
