ATIH2012 - SATA controllers supported by bootable CD

Currently using ATIH2011 on a PC having an add-in PCI express SATA/eSATA controller (Startech PEXSATA24E - Marvell 88SX7042 chipset).

ATIH2011 and earlier bootable CDs do not support this controller; the bootable CD simply hangs (to work with the bootable CD I actually have to unplug the Startech controller card from the PC)!

Does the ATIH2012 bootable CD support more SATA controllers (if so, is it known whether the Marvell 88SX7042 is supported)?

Alternatively, is there a downloadable trial-version bootable CD I can try to see if any of:
i. Controller is now fully supported and able to backup/restore disks attached to it
or ii. Controller is still not supported, but no longer hangs the boot-up (so I would be able to work by moving the disks to the on-board Intel controller to restore them)
or iii. No change from ATIH2011 - bootable CD will still hang while the Marvell controller is in the system.
