ATIH2012, USB 3.0 und exFAT

Thread needs solution

TIH doesn't recognise exFAT file format at the moment.

The rescue CD uses Linux, and to my knowledge the only eXFAT capability is a reverse engineered driver.

I didn't think TIH 2012 could recognise exFAT under Windows, but I haven't tried it since 2011 which also doesn't recognise exFAT either.

If you find 2012 does recognise exFAT under Windows, then that opens up the possibility of making a WindowsPE rescue disk.

Windows 8 and Windows 7 do not permit reformatting my SanDisk from NFTS to FAT32 (only options: exFat and NFTS). I want to make a bootable USB for Acronis but don't know what to do...

James,
Try some brand other than San disk due to their special partitions.

Sorry, but the solution I was looking for did not include buying another flash drive. The drive came formatted in FAT32 but I reformatted it to NFTS (which I prefer), only to find out that Acronis doesn't accept NFTS flash drives. So the problem is not with the SanDisk's ability to be formatted to FAT32.
