ATIHome 10 - build 4942 - bootable media sees not disks

Thread needs solution

Because of my ATIHome2012 problems (Acronis on bootable media refuses to run, claims s/w is not registered)
I've been trying my ATIHome 10, but as "usual" it doesn't see any of my disks (SATA or USB3).

Any idea for working around this issue?
Guess not ... just hoping ...

Cheers,
Mike.

I thought build 4942 added SATA disk support?
I guess this depends upon the controller used or are they fairly generic?

What about USB3, does this require separate drivers or are USB drivers all capable of USB1/2/3?

ATI10 (as opposed to ati2010) is a very old version and not liekly to support a lot of hardware including some SATA and USB3 controllers. If it was a current version, you could ask Acronis to send you a diff iso containing diff drivers and yould probably find one that works. They used to work with users to tailor an iso. But, alas, ati10 is a very old version.

If you have registered your serial number you can go the website, log in and go to the updates page and download the iso for the bootcd, this has slightly diff drivers and a diff loader and might work better for you -- might not.
