Attempting Universal Restore Disc - Asking For Driver adicsc.inf and will not continue
Why can't I create a universal restore disc? Why am I asked for a driver adicsc.inf that I don't have? (And can't find a reference to online either)?

Lol, I was hoping to put drivers on the disc without yet knowing what the exact hardware was I would be "restoring to" . I finally did simply made a disc without additional drivers, but it seemed it would be convenient to put some that Windows typically omits. Such as my sound card and Firewire card driver and so forth.
A side issue: There used to be web sites where if I got an error of a missing driver (named in an error message) within Windows, I could search for that particular driver online. It looks like even the official Windows site doesn't let one search by driver name?

Bob, understand your reasons for wanting to include drivers, but I find it easier to just keep those on a spare USB stick for when they may be needed. The later versions of Windows are better at 'finding' drivers for hardware than the earlier ones were.
For missing drivers, I mainly do a quick Google search and see what comes up, otherwise try such as the IObit Driver Booster free version or similar driver utilities - again, with these I tend to install, do a check then remove again, so that I don't get nagged or find other 'offers' being installed by their program updates!
