Authentication settings

Thread needs solution

I updated Acronis True Image Home. It altered a pre-existing "Disk and Partition backup" plan so that now it always shows a window "Edit Authentication settings" for the NAS drive. I don't know those settings. I use the NAS's proprietary software program of look at the directory for that drive. I don't recall ever having to deal with a username or password for authentication of this drive. I never get asked for it except by Acronis.

I'd love to deleted this plan, but it won't let me edit, delete or change it without the authentication settings.

I created a new "Disk and Partition backup" plan and it works without entering the authentication. I therefore don't need the plan in paragraph one.

How can I delete it?

If you cannot delete the task, you have the radical option of uninstalling ATI, rebooting and reinstalling, then setting new tasks.
