Автоматизация процесса восстановления.

Thread needs solution

Alexander,

What does стнации mean? Google can't translate it.

I think SnapDeploy might be more what you need. If this is to return a PC back to a known state such after a user has finished and you don't want to start a manual recovery process you need a different kind of software than True Image.

Could you give more detail on how you use the PC. There is no way to automate a recovery process with True Image.

Could you please tell me, is it possible to automate recovery of PC from image. Suppose I have image of workstation. I would like to create a boot disc where in menu would be recovery button. On click it does not run Recovery Wizard, but immediantely began restoring PC with standart image recored on the same disc. As i see whole situation, it should be possible in some command line specify options of recovery and image's name. ( I would like to simplify the sheme of work, so that the staff had one recovery image on certain PC and perform minimum of operations, and simplify internal instruction).
Is there a way to implement such a sheme, and what a product can help me to do that?

SnapDeploy is very difficult and expensive for us, and we need not all of its features.
Once again about problem: I have exact copy of PC(image of system), it's recorded on BootCD (for example Acronis). I want to restore the system on PC without using the Restore Wizard, but using for example a command line with specific options: method of recovery, image's name, etc. Is it possible to pass such command line with options to TrueImage?

Alexander,

Have a look at ABR11.5, this has a command line tool as well as the GUI interface. You could write a script or a small program that can parse the commands to the ABR11.5 command line utility.

Here is an example from the ABR11.5 Command Line Reference manual.

acrocmd recover disk --loc=F:\backups --arc=my_archive --disk=1 --target_disk=2

Call that from your script or program and it will recover an image of your choosing.

True Image doesn't have this capability.

Thanks for the advice.
I have carefully read the operating instruction for ABR 11,5. I understand that for using acrocmd i must first install it on PC. In instruction i found that restore system is only possible, if the agent is installed for the OS. It didn't fit.
The question is how to restore local (without network) in case of crashes railway (for example). Old disc change to new. And take beforehand prepared system image, but in this case i have no utility acrocmd. What to do in this case?

Alexander,

I believe the acrocmd also works from the recovery CD, the PDF file for acrocmd says it can. There is an alternative though, you could make a WinPe based recovery CD and then go from there.
