back up quick flas nothing happens

When I click get started/back up system there is a quick flash like a window open and it disappears and nothing happens. It also happens with recover data.
This happened before with Try and Decide but T and D works now. How do I solve this? Is it a firewall blocking the back up, what is the back up exe?
