I cannot get Acronis 2012 to complete a backup of any kind. The backup runs for a little over 2 hours then fails. I am backing up to a Seagate TB free agent disc. Any suggestions?

I can't hook up to Acronis chat since the email account I registered with is now gone; so I can't sign in.
