Backup name sometimes gets cleared
Hi,
sometimes (often enough to catch me out) TI 2015 (6055, 6525) will clear the Backup name.
Lately I've noticed it happening on selecting a backup, and the "Network Place" is unavailable.
I click on the link to edit the connection settings.
Usually, (but not always) it has remembered the connection credentials, so I click on test connection, which succeeds, and I click ok.
Now if I click Backup Now, without noticing that the name has been wiped, the incrementals will not have the name of the backup as the prefix, and will only be e.g _inc_b4_s2_v1.tib which seems to follow the naming scheme, just without the correct prefix. I tried manually editing the names to fix them after the backup had finished, but I'm still getting the "Failed to exclusively access a backup file during consolidation. Make sure the file is not opened in another application" problem after validation on that PC...
I find that TI is "almost there" but just when I think it's good, something happens and it's very difficult and time-consuming to work out what went wrong. So far, I haven't found anything betterthough.
