Backup not listed in opening screen

Thread needs solution

Using ATIH, Build 7119 w/PP, Backups are not shown in opening screen, but they are listed in my backup external Disk. How do I restore these backups not listed in ATIH opening screen so I may selectively restore one of these backups? Using the "Browsing For Backup" I see these files listed on my external drive in the backed up location. How does one get these files to ATIH opening screen for restoration? Any assistance is most appreciated

Also, click on link #3 inside my signature below and check out item #3 or #2 depending upon you need.

The UI of the product lists:
- backup tasks that are active, and
- individual backup files that cannot be assigned to a non-active task that the software has found after scanning your computer. This scanning feature can be disabled.

Note that an archive doesn't need to be listed for you to be able to recover from it.

So you will have plenty of TIB files on the disk, but the UI might list only one item: the task that created all of them.

To restore a backup from a specific date you can, check out Grover's guides.

Thanks Pat. I misread his first posting so my response was somewhat misleading.

From inside TrueImage (Windows installation), if you use the "Browse for backups" option, once the exact backup is listed and selected, there is an option at the bottom of the screen to "Add to Backup list" and the backups would appear on your main screen.

With TrueImage open or closed from within Windows, another way of restoring is to
open Windows Explorer and browse to the storage folder and select the desired file
RIGHT click on the selected file and an option window will open where you can choose the TrueImage option offering to Recover, or Validate or Mount, etc.

You can also boot from the TI Recovery CD , choose the Recover option,
and browse for backups and choose any of your backup files for restoration.
