Backup scheduling failing

Thread needs solution

I have ATIH 2012 (build 5545). I have a backup of C: scheduled for 1 AM on Wed and Sun. This is the first time I've set this up with 2012. The Sunday backup didn't start. I had to run it manually. The boxes "Wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer" and "Prevent the computer from going to sleep/hibernate" are both checked.

My power settings are turn off monitors after 90 minutes and turn off hard disks after 120 minutes. Could the problem be the turned off hard disks? I'm thinking it's not because I assume any starting process would 'wake' the hard disk.

Any suggestion Acronis? Thanks.

You will find that Monday is the beginning of the week, so Wednesday would have run first and then Sunday.

Huh? It was set to run on Sunday morning and didn't run.

Turning off the hard disks is a possibility - my MB is a 'green' MB and won't switch the drives back on unless there is a mouse/keyboard action. However if it goes into power down the task will run and delay the drive power down.

Computer does not wake from sleep to run a scheduled task ATI2012 - I am running build #6154 (latest as of this writing) and Acronis is not waking my system. The tasks run just fine when the system resumes, but this defeats the purpose of automated tasks with a wake from sleep option.

This post indicates that editing scheduled tasks after creation breaks wake from sleep function. Hope this helps others.
