Backup to USB drive

Thread needs solution

I have ATI 2013. I backup normally to an internal HDD. I would also like a backup off site but as this could be stored in my car, it would need to be password protected in case it was stolen.

Is there a way to copy my initial backup to the USB drive to avoid running another backup, or do I bite the bullet and create yet another backup to run after the main internal drive backup? I backup around 1.5TB which takes a while and I understand USB 3.0 can be a problem so USB 2.0 would take even longer.

Hello SYD HUTCHINSON,

I would suggest configuring replication to the second drive, but the speed rates won't differ from the regular backup since replication is performed the same was as backup. Mayby it would be better to configure two different backup plans.

Thank you,
