Backup validation with Acronis True Image Home 11

Thread needs solution

I have a few questions. I am currently using Acronis True Image 11 on my laptop. Over a year ago, I upgraded my original laptop hard drive from 40G to 250G. I've been taking backups on a regular basis since then. Just recently I decided to validate my latest full backup. My backups are typically 11 files. But when I try to do a backup validation, I am only given the option of selecting a single file. All 11 files are my backup. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to upgrade to TI 2010 in order to do this function? Should I upgrade to TI 2010 or buy the full product? Is there a difference between the two? I am preparing to clone my existing drive in case of drive failure and I don't want to wait until then to find out the backup is no good.

Hello Dawyn,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation.

Please validate the last ten backups with right-click on each backup and choose Validate, as they can be corrupted or damaged.

You can upgrade Acronis True Image 11 Home to Acronis True Image Home 2010 using our online store. There is no need to purchase the full version in your case. Acronis True Image Home 2010 Upgrade is a full package and all you have to do in order to install it is to use the serial number for Acronis True Image 11 Home as well as the serial number for the upgrade version.

There is no difference in installation files of Acronis True Image Home 2010 and Acronis True Image Home 2010 Upgrade. When you enter the serial number for Acronis True Image Home 2010 Upgrade while installation it automatically asks for the previous version serial number.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
