Hi,

My computer crashed and I'm currently using the Acronis True Image 2009 Home Boot Media to restore my files, however, while I was logged into my account on the Acronis website I noticed a download link for the "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon.

Did I have to have this "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon installed on my PC before my system crashed?? Or can I use this "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon to help diagnose my system crash without having it currently installed on my PC??

I've used BartPE in the past and I thought it just ran off a CD/DVD disc; so I thought it wasn't necessary to have this "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon installed on my PC before my system crashed.

If I can still use this Acronis "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon, can someone please provide me with a guide on how to use this "BartPE & SafeMedia" addon??
