Blank screen when I restart computer

I have Acronis True Image Home 2012 Update 2.1.
Nothing wrong with my computer other than now that Ive installed
Acronis, when I shutdown the office computer for the weekend
and I start it back on Monday .. I get a blank screen.
When i do a restart it seems ok, only when i do a full shutdown,
then start the problem occurs.
The only way to get to windows, is to restart computer with
the acronis bootable cd, to get to my windows screen.
How do i fix this? Im assuming its the boot sequence? I checked
and priority is the harddrive?
