Boot Manager Missing When Recovering Using TI 2010
Thread needs solution
I just did a test backup using 2010 of a complete partition from my hdd (the system/boot partition) and restored it to a second primary partition on the same disk. I did the recovery from a rescue disk I had made earlier today and booted from. When I try and boot (with 'Restore MBR and Track 0' checked) I get a 'Missing Boot Manager' message from the BIOS (I presume). I also tried restoring the same backup to its original partition and get the same message on rebooting after 'recovery'.
I am using a fully updated version of Windows 7.
Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong (assuming that it is something I am doing)?
Thanks in anticipation.
