Boot media doesnt see any computers on the network

Thread needs solution

Today, Oct 5, 2010, I downloaded the latest boot media ATIH2011PP_en-US.iso
I booted my laptop with it and my desktop pc, neither could see my Netgear NAS or any other pc on my network. Both pc's are wired to a Netgear WNDR3700 router. Both have different NICs, one is broadcom the other is Intel Pro/100 VE network card
So...whats the problem
Thanks

Hello Henry,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your message. I will certainly help you with this.

There can be several reasons for this, such as DHCP problems, network settings problems on the boot media or lack of drivers for your network card on the bootable media.

When you have booted from the bootable media, please click on the tools&utilities button at the top of the screen and select options, is your network adapter detected?

We will need to investigate this issue that is why I would recommend to contact our Support team with the following information.

1. Boot from the bootable media and try to browse your network shares several times, this way connection attempts will be properly logged.

2. After that, please collect this report, which will have the logs from the connection attempts.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
