I am using Proface PS3710A with 2 GB ram running windows XP Pro, loaded 2014 Premium from internal CD/DVD drive and restoring image from usb 16 GB stick. I just used my 2012 version and it works with no problem.
Just to repeat I never get past initial load so the USB stick I don't think comes into play.
Thank You for lookingat problem.

Recreated bootable disk and tried again with the above equipment and here is the message I am getting:
The kernel rquires the following features and not present on CPU:
Pae
unable to boot - Please us a kernel appropriate to CPU
Please note Acronis 2012, 2013 home both work with no problems. XP Pro runs from hard drive and is not inbeded.

I see this PC uses a Pentium M CPU, that I think is where the problem lies, I'll have to look up some old posts n 2013 where some CPUs of the 'M' variety caused a similar problem, even though you were able to boot with 2013 recovery environment.
As you have the Premium version, have you tried making a WinPE based build of the recovery media?

Thank you first for helping me!!
I have not tried WinPE based build as I did not even know about it. I looked at the normal tabs and don't see the ability to create it so I asume I need to dig deeper and download somthing from Microsoft or Acronis.
It will be a few weeks now before I can revisit this problem as I am allocated only so much time for debugging and I have 2012 and 2013 that work.
Thank you so much again or you time!
