Bootable Media freezes at loading program on HP Z620
I can not seem to get any version of Acronis TI to get past the point were it is loading the program. You know the after selecting TI instead of Windows, it just hangs with the Acronis logo/name in the upper LH corner saying to wait program loading. You can wait overnight, it's not loading. and there is no activity on the optical drive. I tried a boot disk from TI 2011, 2012 & 2013.
I want to use Acronis because I have always relied on it. Windows backup does not play well when the target drive/partition is smaller that the source even if the amount of data is very small.
Does HP employ some sort of security blocking process on their workstations?

Clone worked perfectly! It will be interesting to see how TI 2013 handles a new laptop I have that has a 750GB GPT drive in it.

Legacy boot is necessary on several UEFI systems. You can use YUMI to create a bootable USB flash drive with the Acronis ISO on it and it works well on many UEFI systems I have used. I have had good results with UEFI systems and GPT partitoned system drives. It is important to note that on GPT drives any partitions created by the manufacturer (restore/recovery/utility) need to stay in the same relative position on the disk and the size should not be alterd. The Windows system reserved (if present) and OS partitions, as well as any data or user created partitions, can be resized during restore/recovery with usually no problems. This advice is also prudent for MBR partitioned drives as well.

Ok, Clones and images work perfectly........Just dump the UEFI for legacy boot up in the BIOS.
