Bootable recovery disk for Mac

Thread needs solution

I have TI 2010 with plus pack running in Vista 32bit on a bootcamp partition. Since the Plus Pack supports GUID Partition Tables as used by Mac OSX, I am hoping I will be able to restore an Acronis image to a bootcamp partition if the need arises.

I have created a bootable rescue disk, which boots the Mac Pro, but TI will not not launch. I get the following message:

"acronis: insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/acpiphp.ko': -1 No such device: No such device
acronis cannot open module `st' : No such file or directory
acronis: insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/floppy.ko' : -1 Nos such device: no such device"

Very grateful for any help.

Hello Michael,

I understand your question and will do my best to give you a clear explanation.

Acronis products do not support Apple Mac OS X. Standalone versions of Acronis products also do not support Apple Mac machines. Acronis products do not run under any Windows or Linux operating systems when installed on Apple Mac.

Acronis products will work in virtual environment created by means of Parallels Desktop. In this case, however, using Acronis products you will be able to manage only the virtual environment, and not the Apple Mac itself. For additional information please visit http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/premium/

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
