Bootable USB-drive seems to have resolution problem on notebook ACer Aspire

Thread needs solution

I have made a bootable USB-drive in Rescue Media Builder on my notebook Acer Aspire V5. I can start it and can even recognize that acronis is starting (because of the colors I see on the screen) but the screen is filled with all rubish. So I can't do anything.
It seems the resolution is not correct. I also have tried to add at the startup parameters the prompt vga=ask but this doesn't work.

Who has a solution?

Try specifying a lower vga resolution instead of the ask switch. You should try 720 or 1024

It would appear that your onboard video is not compatible with the ATI Boot (Rescue) Media. Your next choice it to create a WinPE or MustangPE boot disk so that ATI runs under a Windows environment instead of the Linux environment of the Boot Media. You must have the Premium TI version in order to create a PE disk.
