Build 6514 recover Windows 7 full back-up image and SSD secure erase before recovery

Thread needs solution

From what I've read, it's a good thing to do a "secure erase" to an SSD before complete recovery, or the clean install of an OS. There is a way to do it, using some software, and I guess booting from the software disk. Partition Magic I think, and many others. Windows 7 does it or the equivalent, if you start up from the install CD and delete all SSD partitions, followed by a quick format. Does anyone know if when a full back-up image which includes the "hidden" Windows 100 MB system reserved is recovered (either with or without the MBR recovery, that apparently gets written to the "visible" C drive partition) if True Image 2013 does a secure erase to an SSD, prior to recovery? Either using recovery from the OS console, or when booting from the 2013 CD recovery disk? My guess is no.
Thanks.
