Can anyone help me with this error?

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I am having problems validating an image I validated 10 days ago. I even cannot make a new back up. Any help is welcome.

Most likely this error is caused by file system errors. I would really appreciate if you could take a look at the Acronis True Image Home section of this Knowledge Base article and if you are still having problems, I would really appreciate an Acronis system report.

Is M: a local disk or a mounted disk?

It is an USB 1 Tera Hard Drive. Is it better to use a local disk?

An external HD is a good destination for backups. But, such Acronis errors are often the result of either disk errors or issues with the USB communication.

Disconnect and reconnect the drive, ensuring that the USB plugs are well seated in both ports. If you have another USB cable, you might try it, and also try connecting to a different port on your computer. (Sometimes a port or cable go bad.)

Run chkdsk (with both options selected) on the drive.

Eduardo, according to the program logs, it is possible there is an issue with the backup location.

Would it be possible for you to either move the backup to a different backup location and then add it to your backup list, or create a new backup task saved to a new location and let us know the results.
