Can I create a USB drive with a UEFI bootable Acronis 2014?
In the past I have used a DVD bootable version of Acronis 2014 and it worked flawlessly. Recently I changed my motherboard to an ASUS Z87 Deluxe which uses UEFI but now I cannot boot from the DVD that I have always used. Can anyone please tell me how to create USB flash drive that boots as UEFI and contains Acronis 2014 so that I can carry out backup and restore at boot?

I have already tried rapidly tapping the F8 Key but the PC simply boots to the operating system as usual. Accordingly, I followed the link that you provided and have now successfully created a UEFI bootable USB drive for TI 2014. It now works.
Many thanks for your helpful response.

Congratulations on working through the USB bootable process.
It is a powerful feature.
Beware that the combination of some computers, some USB memory sticks, and TIH does not work - the USB stick is not properly recognized.
(An example of having to work through the process is that TIH2013 will not accept selecting the media to be bootable until you've selected Full backup, that's logical but out of sequence in the main dialogue window.
