Can I trust this backup program ?

Thread needs solution

Bought Acronics True Image Ome 2012 some days ago. Installed on two computers . Everything went ok.

Two backup jobbs on one computer , with two identical disk model , became mixed and added in a not funny way.
Disk1 C:+D: Made one full backup first day . Disk2 H: one full backup second day and one inkremental third day. Result 3 .tib files named as they proberbly should an with file size proberbly of the size they should have.
But the information about the jobs in "Backup and Recovery windows" showed the same result for both of them. 3 versions , same size ( not summary of any of the files in any way ) , same last date and time ( the last inkremental backup of disk2) .
Wanted to try a recover but only disk2 H: was found for recovering.
Looked in "edit backup setting" It was OK .
So I decided to delete disk1 C:+D: job ( should be one .tib file ) . But all 3 .tib files was deleted !!!

The other computer also with two disks but not identical models seems to do the work ok ! But I have not tried to do a recover yet or deleted one of the jobs yet .

Have read a lot of posts on this forum . Seems to be a lot of problems . And It seems to be a lot trying to get money back without results. Should have looked here before buying .

How can I trust a program making such a mistakes . Have used a DOS bachfile with Xcopy command , trigged by windows sheduler , before and seems that I have to use it instead again.

The only sure guarantee of successful backups is an actual restoration test. Especially after installing a new backup and recovery version, you should try restoring at least one of its backups using some test location, preferrably a complete restore to another drive if you have one available for testing purposes.
