Can not set options in Home_2011
I did an upgrade from Home_2010 to Home_2011.
While setting up a scheduled backup When I got to the Options screen (see attached screenshots) the Pre/Post Commands was expanded. I wanted to set the Computer Shutdown option. If I click the up arrow to compress the Pre/Post commands or expand the Computer shutdown the screen goes gray and I get an error message that the program has stopped working. Rebooting the computer did not help.

Add the command under the Pre/post command
Click on use custom command.
click on edit option for the post command
enter the desired options.
I was able to view your attachments by removing the extra x on the extension and opened in as a *.doc file.
It is also very easy to use add your image inside your posting under the file attachments option.

I don't want to change the Pre/Post command. I want to change the Computer SHutdown option.

I managed to view the images eventually and all I can say is that I can set the option without issue so you may have to wait and see what an Acronis person suggests.

Bob, I noticed the same thing. I found that if you change the backup option dialog, then you lose any custom options and it resets to default. Also, the default dialog only works sometimes and is buggy. So the work around is to set the backup option dialog and save then re edit and change the custom options and save. By the time this gets fixed, ver 2012 will be available.

GroverH, RayG, thank you for your suggestions!
Dear Bob, thank you for the detailed description! It's hard to say for sure, but looks more like some drivers conflict, that crashed Acronis True Image Home 2011. Anyway in order to resolve the issue we need to find the exact cause of it. So the situation requires investigation.
Could you please gather the following information?

I too have found the TI2011 does not remember all your options, even though you click the "Make Default" tab.
TBH, TI2011 is too buggy for me. I "upgraded" from TI2010 and really wished I'd saved my money. It's full of bugs. So much so that I have removed it and reinstalled 2010. At least until it performs better. I cannot recommend TI2011 at all. Acronis seem to over complicate things. It seems to be happening with every new release.
