Cannot generate recovery report error message cannot open Libcap.so.0.9.4

I need to get a revised True Image file to support my computer. I'm using the 2010 version build 7160. According to the article 15791 I need to provide support with two reports one generated on the computer and one from the recovery disk. When I try to get the generate the recovery disk report to load on to a USB drive it gives me the error message cited above and says to reboot. It also never finds the USB drive. I have a ASUS P6X58E using 6 GB transfer and the recovery disk doesn't load those drivers to support 6 GB transfer. It will recover the backups if I move to 3GB drivers. I do not think it is necessary to open the case to switch cables around. I's very tight in there.
