Cannot ReCover Saved Data

Acronis Full V 12

When I attempt to recover a previous saved backup as an example November 20, 2013, all that happens is that Acronis shows 'not responding'. I let it run for a long time and still no response. Tried this several times and get same results. Restarted computer, etc and still no change
Please advise and thank you in advance for your assistance.
