Cannot see NAS servers

Thread needs solution

I have two NAS servers on my LAN, a PC running NASLite and a Netgear Stora.
When I try to do a partition backup I go to browse destination and select NAS. Nothing happens. I am not offered eithe server.
Whhat do I have to do to backup to NAS?

How are you seeing your server, via a mapped drive, UNC/IP?

Mapped drives can be problematical, UNC/IP shouldn't.

I assume this is from within Windows that you are having the problem?

When using ATI with a network drive, use a UNC path to to your NAS device for a backup destination, not a typical friendly "mapped" drive.
e.g.
\\192.168.2.25\My Backups\

I believe it may also be possible to use a UNC path that includes server name rather than IP, such as
\\server1\My Backups\

Where can I enter the path?
If I am in the Disk Backup screen the only place is Backup Name: That won't let me enter \\address.
In the Browse for destination if I put \\192.168.2.100\Backup\C_Drive.tib the OK box is greyed out.
I can't enter the path in this release.

I found that I could connect by typing \\server1\My Backups\ In the Browse for destination screen and then clicking on the arrow at the end of the input field.

Thanks for the help.
