Can`t backup to NAS using acronis and VM disk image creation

Thread needs solution

Hi

I bought today acronis 2014 version and i am already having problems.
I created a bootable disk and ran a quick test on my Dell Server T710 which runs windows server 2008 R2 x64 standard. I went through all the steps and I can see my NAS listed but i can`t store anything on my NAS and don`t understand why.

Another question is...I also tried to created a disk image of 1 VM that runs on the same server and I am facing the same issues but I am not sure if I can do it through Acronis as I said I am still running some testes and so far they all have failed.

Please can anybody help me or at least tell what I am doing wrong?

By the way the chat service does not work as well it keeps saying to check my pops settings nut they are all correct. Have tried IE and chrome

Thanks

Updating situation after other tests

VM seems to be done after booting from the VM itself using acronis and it is sorted now.

NAS was finally identified and it is ok

Thanks guys but everything is ok now...i hope

True Image is not a server product.

Make sure the NAS has a file system that is supported.

True Image is not a VM product, however, if you use a boot CD/ISO and use the product like the VM was a physical machine, you should be able to do aback up of whatever OS is installed (again, not a server product).
