Cant Complete an install of True Image 2015

Thread needs solution

Today I bought a 3 system license and have successfully installed Acronis True Image 2015 on one PC.
On my second PC the install won't complete. My environment is a newish Dell desktop running Win 7/64 and I have stacks of available hard drive space.
The error states:-
Installer cannot continue because another true image tool is running.
Checks with the Task Mgr shows that there were no other Acronis products running. The only option offered with the error was to Close the program. I attempted a second download and the same problem occurred.
First Two Attempts
Installation bailed out during download at about the ¾ths point.
Third Attempt
So I then did a clean reboot and ensured no other programs were running except the download/installer. I got the same error message but this time it was after the download had completed and was during the unzip process.
Forth Attempt
Disabled Windows firewall, emptied temp folder, attempted install

Fifth Attempt
I downloaded and ran the abr clean-up tool in case this would help but my installation will still not complete. It failed during the unzip process again.

did you have ABR installed before?

for ATI there's another cleanup tool available:

Thanks Ken for the information. I did download and run the atih cleanup tool you mentioned which seems to be the correct one. I also emptied the temp folder and tried and install the product (twice) with the firewall disabled. Unfortunately the install still crashes during the unzip. Same error of course.

One thing that really bugs me about Acronis Support (maybe I'm wrong here) is that I have tried to open a fault report and or do a live chat with Customer Support and I can't because their problem reporting system requires that you enter an error code that must meet certain format requirements.

Unfortunately the error message I get doesn't meet Acronis' error format requirements so I can't complete the reporting process.

I hope that someone from Acronis is reading this and helps me through this conundrum as I am fed up trying to get this product installed on my second PC. I've wasted so much time.

Update:- I thought I'd try an install in Windows Safe Mode. Unfortunately the same result and error code. Although things happen quickly after the download completes from what I saw this time the unpack completed, then the message "installing" pops up then jumps immediately to the error.

This is a repeat of a reply I made on another thread that described the same problem:

I got the exact same message (including the misspelling) when I first attempted to install TI 2015. I solved it by contacting Acronis via the Chat Line, and the Tech provided me with a link to a different file. That one installed properly. Took about 5 minutes.

I finally managed to get onto the support Chat Line... I don't know why I couldn't the other day but the information flow that I was taken through this time was different and didn't require an error code.
Anyway the upshot is that I got onto a great support person who downloaded an executable installer and all went well and I'm up and running on my second PC.
