Can't finish the job
Hi
I hope someone can help me a little bit.
1) I think it is VERY difficult to get in touch with Acronis. I have a "Pay Per Incident" number, but I don't know, how to get in contact with them. The support pages are one large loop... and I don't get anywhere. I am sick of it.
2) Suddenly I get this message: "Failed to exclusively access during consolidation. Make sure the file is not opened in other applications"
The job runs like normal for a couple of hours, but it can't finish. In the end I just get the above message.
I have not changed any settings - it used to work. There are lots of free space on the target drive.
Best regards

Hi there. I am trying to use the full version of True Image 2015 to clone from my Lenovo Yoga (Windows 7 Pro SP1). The Yoga has an interesting secondary cache SSD for the system files, which will be removed when I install my new SSD to replace the older master HDD (this may be relevant so I mention it). I have successfully formatted my new SSD and Windows recognizes it to set up cloning. I connect this SSD to my laptop using a USB 3.0 drive connector, again relevant. Acronis starts and recognizes the destination drive for the cloning. However, right after I set up the source and destination files, it asks that I reboot the laptop. This then results in an endless loop of restarts (the software will not proceed without the restart) - I see a new Acronis Loader loading during the boot-up sequence, but then the program stops and Windows starts, with no cloning. Once more, I launch Acronis, drives recognized, but endless loop without cloning. I have used the software (second license) on another laptop, my HP Envy, and accomplished my cloning without any issues whatsoever using the same USB 3.0 Sabrent drive connector. What's missing here?
I am reachable on cell if that helps.
