Can't install - Error 1303. The installer has insufficient privileges

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I have recently installed a new SSD as my boot drive. I have a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate, and am trying to install True Image 2013. Unfortunatley, after the whole installation process, i get the following error:
Error 1303. The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Acronis. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator.

This is the first time i come across an error like this, and as i said - this is a fresh copy of windows.
I have tried running the installer as administrator but all remains the same...
The only thing i can think of that makes my setup here a little "special" is the fact i set all of my user special folders (music, pictures, documents, etc) on my D drive and not my boot SSD (for obvious space reasons).

I would appreciate any help on this, as i have no clue what to do!

Thanks
JJ

Greetings,
Your description if complete is your answer. Permissions on the folder the installer is trying to write to are insufficient. This doesn't happen on it's own. One of the changes you've made has unintentionally changed the folder permissions in your environment. You can put things back the way windows expects them to be, or modify the System permissions on this folder to allow access, full control, etc.
