Can´t klick ok button while adjusting backup settings for mail backup

Thread needs solution

Hi,

just wanted to change the default backup options for mail backup. when finished I can´t klick the ok button. I can click it, but there is no action. why?

Nobody from Acronis has interest to approach this problem. You should get used to it, unfortunately. At least you are not the only one. See my threat:

Bad workaround: Delete the email-backup and create a new one.

I report this issue already to the Acronis support, but I had to pay for it (renew the technical support program)!! If you have the power and money please report this as well.

After you make your changes, use the test button to make sure it works. After you get a message that it was successful, then click the column header on the top which reads "backup scheme". Then click the ok button. The changes seem to be saved more successfully when the ok button is pushed from the backup scheme.

This is the REnglish version. Note the test option in lower left. Normally, if the ok button is not acessible, this would indicate the settings need completion or adjustments.

thanks a lot- but my issue has something to do with mail backup, not disk backup. I want to change the mail backup options, after having done that, I cant´t finish by clicking the "ok" button. the button is there but there is no reaction after having clicked on it!:(

Your're talking about something else. Please see my attachment. We are talking about changin the outlook-SETTINGS.

hi joschi4,

kann man den brüdern nicht irgendwie dampf machen? bin am überlegen, ob ich die version für workstations (backup and recovery 11) für unser verwaltungsnetz nehmen soll, wenn hier schon so viele fehler drin stecken.

hab mit der alternative von o und o software schon geliebäugelt. http://www.oo-software.com/de/products/oodiskimage/professional
hast du dazu erfahrungen?

Vergiss es, man kann den Acronis-Leuten nicht Dampf machen. Die kommen wahrscheinlich gar nicht mehr nach mit den x-Anfragen. Ich werde mir das o und o mal genauer anschauen. Die wichtigste Bedingung ist: Arbeitet es zuverlässig? Nicht voll von Fehler wie Acronis?

nein, keine Erfahrungen selbst gemacht zum o und o programm. wurde mir nur als "deutsche" alternative von einem Systemhaus angeboten.

Mir wurde das von Norton empfohlen. Wir sollten uns ein wenig schlau machen :-)
