Can't register product, stupid message

Thread needs solution

Want to get upgrade for TI 2010, but cannot register the old one first. Get message saying to contact support - Catch 22, cannot contact support without details of a registered product. Since i long ago registered TI 11, I tried using that to establish contact with support.

So, just makes you want to cry - big companies now treat users like dirt. But I can live without TI 2013 as probably many other annoyed potential clients.

If you have your older True Image serial number handy, you do not need to register it to be able to buy or install the upgrade to 2013. You just purchase the upgrade to 2013, and then when installing it, you will be prompted for the serial number of 2013 and the serial number of your older version of True Image. The install will then upgrade your current installation or install a new full copy of 2013. You can register the 2013 version online either before or after installing it.

It is always best to start with a clean system, with no older versions of Acronis True Image installed.
