Can't start TI 2010 more than once

I just upgraded to 2010 from 2009. TI started up fine. I made some changes to the tasks and appearance settings but when the appearance settings didn't take effect, I thought I had to restart for that to happen. But after the program closed, it wouldn't open again. I have to reboot to get it to restart. If look in task manager after trying to start, trueimage.exe is there but the program is not visible. The font chenges never took through any of this either. Does anyone know what might be causing this? What to do?

I too have the problem that I can't start TI2010 more than once. I am using the Trial edition running under Vista.
