Change Folder Structure. Is this possible?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I created a backup of the folder "C:\Users\MA\Pictures" including all its sub folders.

I selected the destination and ran the backup with no compression.

On the backup I get the following folder structure:
"C:\Users\MA\Pictures\Travel"
"C:\Users\MA\Pictures\Sports"

Can't I just get:
"Pictures\Travel"
"Pictures\Sports"

On the destination. Without the "C:\Users\MA\"
Ins't there such an option?

Thanks,
Miguel

Hello Miguel!

Welcome to our Forum, and thank you for finding time to join us! I understand your question and will be glad to shed the light to this situation.

I regret to inform you that it's not possible due to Windows architecture. C:\Users\MA\ is a path for accessing the file, and unfortunately there is no workaround for it. You can contact Microsoft Support for more infromation regarding this limitation.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
