Change SID After Restore

Recently I’ve been trying to create a standard image file we can image new computers with to save time configuring each new PC. I’m using Microsoft SysPrep with Hotfix KB887816. The hotfix is supposed to stop the default user account taking it settings form the local admin account.
My question is I noticed on Acronis True Image Workstation (software Im using) there is an option to change the SID after the image has been restored. Does anyone use this instead of Sysprep? I’m finding with Sysprep even through I have the hotfiox installed its still messing some of the other settings up.
