Cloned Drive will not boot... says MBR is missing...

Thread needs solution

I have a drive that was 80Gb, and I need to clone it to a 1Tb drive. Everything seems to work fine, but, when I put it in the computer I want it to boot in, it says it cannot find the MBR. I can see it on the drive, and I have activated the drive, and made it a Primary... it still does not see the MBR...

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks....

Try using the method offered by ACronis
http://kb.acronis.com/content/2931
1. Install target disk inside the computer in normal boot position. Locate source disk elsewhere.
2. Boot from the TI CD (see note) and perform the clone
3. After completion, shutdown and remove the source so only the cloned replacement is attached.
4. Boot with only the new boot attached.
Note: . AS you have already cloned once, after you boot with the TI CD, suggest you use the "add new disk" option and delete the existing partitions on the 1T target disk so no partitions remain and the 1T has all unallocated space.
