Cloning current HDD into new OCZ Vector 180 - Not booting afterwards
Hey All,
Sorry if this has been asked many times, I searched via Google and couldt not find anything simialr to my case.
So I have a Lenovo L421 work laptop and I purchased a OCZ Vector 180 SSD to convert to. As per package and user guide it asked me to go download Acronis true image and put in the serial number etc and run the cloning process which i followed as per video guide.
I plugged the SSD into a external USB HDD and connected it to my laptop and started the cloning process. Once this was done and completed I opened upa nd replaced my old HDD with the newly cloned SSD.
On boot up it said windows had failed to start due to a recent hardware or software change etc.
asked me to either inbsert a windows installation disc which i did and did not help
at the bottom it said "Status: 0xc000000e" and boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible
Any ideas? I plugges the SSD to another computer and saw that it was F:, is it because it needs to become a C:? I tried going into bios but does not seem to work with the SSD in, it just fails to boot at all.
Any help is greatly appreciated. cheers!
Eric
