Cloning error: "Boot drive (partition) not found"

Trying to clone a drive, but when I am prompted to restart, after restart I get the following message:

"Starting Acronis Loader...

Acronis Loader fatal error: Boot drive (partition) not found.
Press to try to boot your OS..."

I have ran chkdsk and everything is OK. I even ran Startup Recovery with the System Repair Disk, just in case, the problem persists. No logs are generated.

Any idea what the problem may be?

Also, this message now pops up on every restart - how can I stop the Acronis Loader from starting?

Well, it appears that Acronis TI 2014 is utter garbage!

Luckily I had a TI 2011 Acronis boot disk - booted from said disk and was able to use 2011 to clone the hard disk without any issues.

Not only will I never buy another Acronis product - I will make sure that no one I know buys it, either.
I cannot see myself trusting this company with my backups, when they can't even make a disk clone anymore...
