Cloning operation hangs after reboot and message "Starting Acronis Loader'

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to clone from a 64G SSD with Win7 OS to a new Crucial 256G SSD in a USB port EZ-dock. My intention is to replace the old 64G with the new 256G after cloning. Crucial provided ATI 2014, build 4515. After going through the cloning steps (found in both doc and faq) and clicking 'reboot', the computer reboots, runs through the BIOS and then hangs after issuing the note 'Starting Acronis Loader'. No activity is seen on the Crucial drive. After several hours, I rebooted and the system will restart Win7. All drives are then visible to Windows, but the Crucial drive has not been touched.

Thanks for the help,
Jim

Produce the Acronis recovery medium from Acronis True Image (ATI) running in Windows, or download the ISO from the Acronis.com account and burn it to a CD or make a USB flash drive bootable with it using a tool like Yumi, among others.
Boot the computer from this medium. Then do the clone from there. You will be out of Windows.

If the computer doesn't boot with the medium or doesn't see the disks, produce a WinPE based recovery medium. Boot the computer on it and do the clone operation from there.
