Cloud backup not working properly
Hi,
I recently upgraded to Acronis True Image 2014 Premium, taking advantage of an offer where I got 250 GB of cloud storage. I started trying to use the Cloud backup feature, and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. On April 7, 2014, I configured a daily cloud backup and chose to backup my entire 'My documents' folder (which is about 32 GB). I did that in the evening and it was still not completed when I woke up in the morning and had to go to work so I attempted to suspend it. I tried to resume it the next morning and it seemed to complete ok. I am able to click on 'Recover' and this brings me to the 'Acronis Cloud' webpage where I am able to browse through my backed up files. When I look at the backup in TrueImage, the 'Last Updated' timestamp reads Tuesday, April 8, 2014 11:09:00 AM. When I click on "schedule", it seems as though this backup is scheduled to run every day at 9:00 PM, which would be great.
I have seen no indication that this backup has been attempting to run every day. The 'Last Updated' timestamp has not changed (still reads Tuesday, April 8, 2014 11:09:00 AM.) I tried clicking on 'Back Up Now' - as the progress bar moves along, the text goes from "taking snapshot" to "Searching for Data Changes" to "Cleaning Up" and then it stops. (This all happens in less than a minute). No problems are reported, but new files that I know I have added are not backed up (I verified this by logging back onto the Acronis Cloud and the 'Last Updated' timestamp still reads Tuesday, April 8, 2014 11:09:00 AM. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Or if there a white paper or instructions I can read on how to use this feature properly, please let me know.
