Cloud Backup process running after subscription expired - how to stop?

Thread needs solution

Acronis True Image 2015 for PC Build 6525
Windows 7 with all patches/updates applied

I started to use the Cloud backup but decided that it was not for me. All my backups and synchronisations are done to local disks. The Cloud subscription expired months ago (as has the support) and I received due notice that the data would be eradicated.
I had to go and look at the status of 'My Backups' for another reason. I noticed that the backup from my prime disk to Acronis Cloud was still working away. Whilst it is doing this you cannot select any options or operations and therefore not remove this backup. Clicking on the operation just brings up the message saying that the subscription has expired and to be able to complete you have to select 'Renew'. Obviously I do not wish to renew.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I remove this unnecessary backup?

I've attached a snapshot of the screen.

Thanks
Cliff

It may be possible to disable the task scheduler temporarily and then delete the task from within the apps GUI. Acronis Scheduler2 Service (AcrSch2Svc) is the service which runs backup tasks for the app. To temporarily disable using Windows search type services.msc. Once file is displayed open the file. The resulting window will display all services on your PC. Scroll down the list if necessary and locate AcrSch2Svc. Right click on this list entry to select it. Once selected (highlighted) left click on the selection and from the resulting context menu choose properties. From the Status dialog box displayed in the resulting window use the dropdown arrow on the right side of the box to display the available options. Choose Disable from the list. Once your change has been made select the OK button at the bottom of the window. Exit out of all windows and start the Acronis app, delete the cloud backup task, close the app and repeat the steps above to restore the scheduler service to its original status.

Thank you for your response to my request. I did manage to stop the Acronis processes. Initially the process was acting as before and so I wasn't able to delete it. I restarted the PC and the Services and the Cloud backup operation had disappeared from the list. Rebooted the PC again and checked that the Cloud backup did not reappear. All successful. Thanks once again.
