Cloud - Slow Download and handling

It seems to be not a new issue. Download speed of a backup, based on the Acronis cloud server is very slow in comparison to our common download speed at different other servers. Also other handling of the Acronis cloud behaves very dull - i.e. browsing throught their online file browser etc.
Is there any improvement scheduled or should we better consider to use an online storage/backup product with good performance? Any ideas?
